We are working on strategies to help analyze and understand fiction and non-fiction text. Attached is a strategy checklist that provides some look-fors to observe a reader's level of engagement when analyzing text.
Our initial reading focus will be on self-monitoring and fix-up strategies. The attached document offers some tips for young readers to help develop and enhance these skills.
